Monday, June 1 closing the year information

Post assessment

This will be given in class this Wednesday and Thursday, June 3 and 4.

It will consist of two sections"

A. 24 multiple choice responses. These cover the fundamentals of journalism.  The blog is a good place to review.

B. Two paragraphs, one of which you will receive reporter notes that you will use to write a news article. The second is an analysis of an editorial for its rhetorical devices.

The post assessment will count as a writing grade.

Next Wednesday, June 10, is your country assessment, which will count in the writing category of 40%. I am giving you numbered practice maps. These are exactly the same as the  one's you will receive on the 10th.  You have in class time to practice.
