Writing your own tabloid article

length: about 250 words
include: photo
headline with your name as the
byline
strap line (subheading)
Subject matter: choose a mythological, folk, fairy tale, nursery rhyme characters. No real people. Do a bit of research if you need to.
Basic journalism writing: you have a lead sentence, addressing the who,what, when, where and how.
You will have quotes.
Write in active voice only.
But, as this is a tabloid, contractions, slang, jargon and biases may be included.
