OR Alternative assignment for anyone who is absent from the interview this afternoon: search for two male and two female examples of attire that reflects what one should and should not wear to an interview, and in approximately 200 words, analyze their dress.

2. Warm Up Exercise. (10 minutes)
You are going to participate in developing an open-ended story line. The story line begins with: “ Crowds of people have gathered outside the doors of…” Each student will add 2 lines to the story until the story is complete. Be creative. Story telling is a great way to get your creative juices flowing.
3 Role Playing Exercise: (15 minutes)
Choose a partner to work with and role-play the following:
You are going for a job interview for an office manager’s job.
1. First describe to each other how you would dress for the interview.
2. On the handout (copy below), as a pair, write out what you would need to take to an interview.
3) Now develop a list of questions that an employer might ask you. Think about open ended questions.
4) Now role play the questions, taking turns as interviewer and interviewee. Place two chairs facing each other. Begin with a handshake and a request to have a seat.
5) I will collect your responses at the close of class for a classroom participation grade.
